The project was designed in accordance with the requirements of the Earthquake Resistance Ordinance and its construction was carried out under strict supervision. In the project, C50 class concrete, known for its strength, was used in the construction, and attention to the requirements of seismic resistance was at the highest level. Not only the main structures, but also the main lines of fire pumps, the boiler house, cooling systems, warehouses and other infrastructure facilities were equally protected by the seismic measures taken. The structural design project, which was built with high technology and know-how, was prepared by highly qualified and experienced civil engineers.
Ground conditions also play an important role in the seismic resistance of a building. Underneath the foundation of the project is massive rock belonging to the Thracian formation of Paleozoic age, which is most preferable for the construction of a solid foundation. Multi-storey buildings built on such rocks in Istanbul have a high degree of seismic resistance.
